Seeking a Professional Engineer with experience in the design of municipal water/wastewater projects. This is a direct hire position with a growing firm located in southwest Austin, Texas. Relocation assistance is available. Primary responsibilities: Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules and budgets and providing updates to the manager. Assist in preparing submittals, contracts, bidding, etc. Supervise internal staff ( EIT's, drafters) and external parties (subcontractors, inspectors, etc.) Job Responsibilities: Designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects from conception to completion. Conducting site investigations and analyzing data (maps, reports, tests, etc.) for project feasibility. Developing and implementing innovative solutions to engineering problems. Assessing potential risks associated with projects and recommending mitigation strategies. Preparing and presenting detailed reports on project progress, budgets, and timelines. Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success. Nice to have experience in: Design/calculations for drainage Project management Permitting Working with Municipal Utility Districts in Texas. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, MS preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license. 5 years experience in municipal water/wastewater design. Strong knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D,HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, WaterCAD, ArcGIS or other hydraulic modeling program Good communication and teamwork abilities.
