A client of Insight Global is actively seeking a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Advisor in the Kansas City area to evaluate & monitor health & safety hazards & develop control strategies for electrical utilities job sites. Approximately 70% of the time you will be traveling to sites across Kansas for the day with the occasional overnight stay (about twice per month) You will have a company vehicle provided to you. This position will require you to inspect construction workplaces to ensure compliance with company / client policies & procedures as well as government legislation & industry best practice standards.

Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage the companys health, safety, and environmental policies.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
Provide advice and guidance to staff and contractors on HSE matters.
Deliver HSE training programs to employees and contractors.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify their causes and propose preventive measures.
Prepare reports on HSE performance.
Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure the company is up-to-date with all relevant HSE legislation.

BS in Safety Management, Occupational Safety and Heath, Construction Management or related field
OSHA 30 certification
CPR training
2-5 years of experience with HSE (Heath, Safety, Environmental) in construction, utilities, and/or electrical project sites
Valid driver's license & clean driving record
Strong time management skills
