The Sr. Cost Accountant is responsible to support the site controller and plant management by performing analysis of cost, production, and inventory for World Class Manufacturing (WCM), assisting with month end close, audit request and other special projects. They will develop, control, and manage cost accounting functions of the location to assure timeliness, accuracy, and integrity of the accounting function and attainment of corporate objectives. Specific duties will encompass the following: Cost Maintenance : work order reporting and analysis, product costing, cost roll-up, assist with internal procedures and policies. Run labor reporting and analysis. Assist with Inventory: cycle count audits, inventory account reconciliation, inventory reserve maintenance and analysis, inventory slow moving and obsolete. Monthly Close Process : Perform journal entry posting, balance sheet reconciliations, Smart View data input and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) data inputs. Reporting & Analysis : Assist with site-specific financials, various variance analysis and department spending analysis. Maintain weekly score card matrix. Costing of new product and participation in the budget and updating the ERP during the budget phase. Fixed Asset Maintenance : Maintain a fixed asset roll forward schedule; work with project manager to confirm asset status. Ensure all fixed assets are placed into service timely. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $79,500 to $123,400 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $87,450 to $135,740.
