The Role

We are looking for a Senior Content Manager as one of our first marketing hires to shake up the traditional world of telecom. We're solving new problems-technical ones in the world of secure mobile connectivity, and cultural ones in consumers' understanding and appreciation of privacy. You will need to educate consumers about why privacy matters, how Cape ensures secure and resilient connectivity, and why to trust us. You'll bring an expeditionary spirit to introducing a new kind of product to an established market, with the goal of creating and conquering a new category. This role reports to the Head of Consumer Growth.

Here are some ways you'll make an impact
  • Quadruple traffic to our website by creating engaging, relevant content for privacy and security-conscious consumers.
  • Make SEO our top organic channel for new customers by creating content that targets high-intent prospects during moments of truth in the mobile carrier buying journey
  • Make CRM our second biggest non-paid channel
  • Rank at the top for relevant keywords by working with our web developer and designer to generate creative, original, and interactive content
  • Grow our social media presence to take the lead in followers in the mobile privacy space
  • Increase customer promotion and product virality via user education and inspiring user-generated content
  • Generate customer satisfaction by creating and maintaining a knowledge base that serves as the main customer care resource
  • Strengthen our brand by working with key partners on co-produced content
  • Shape and influence the overall Go To Market strategy.
Are you the candidate we are looking for?
  • 5+ years content management or writing experience
  • Deep understanding of the consumer technology landscape, especially in the privacy/security domain
  • Familiarity with best practices in SEO, CRM, and social media is a plus
  • Flexible and adaptable, getting energy from the excitement and unpredictability of bringing a new product to market
  • Curious, always looking for new insights about the customer and new ways to reach them
  • Metrics and results driven; comfortable with SEO metrics
