Associate Project Manager CBRE Location: Saddle Brook, NJ (client office in Northern Jersey area) Join CBRE as an Associate Project Manager in the Project Management function. As part of the dedicated Project Management team, you will provide advanced administrative support to operations, administration, and management for commercial real?estate projects. This role includes documentation preparation, issue resolution, and reporting. You may also manage smaller projects under the guidance of a senior project manager. Responsibilities Support project management team to manage all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual commercial real?estate projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout. Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements. Ensure project data integrity and documentation are accurate, timely, and coordinated. Track progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, and timelines. Report status, variances, and craft action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule. May manage smaller projects and/or lead a third?party delivery team, tracking performance and motivating team members. Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques to accomplish tasks and address routine problems. Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, explaining complex information in straightforward terms. Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Work primarily within standardized procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future. Bachelors Degree preferred with 25 years of relevant experience (alternative acceptable: combination of experience and education). In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Previous AEC experience preferred, including construction project management, owners representative, or commercial project management. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices. Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems and ability to analyze solutions using judgment and precedence. Strong interpersonal skills and inquisitive mentality. Ability to report to the clients offices or sites at least three days per week (Saddle Brook and Northern Jersey area). Compensation and Benefits Base salary: $90,000 $105,000 annually. Additional rewards may include discretionary bonuses and the following benefits: 401(k), Dental, Health, Life, and Vision insurance.
