Maintenance Purchasing Agent

This position is responsible for all purchase order development, correspondence and documentation for materials acquired through the Asset/Maintenance Mgmt System and appropriately code and cost all purchased items for payment processing and data collection.Works with mechanics, project managers, engineers and operators to efficiently and cost-effectively ensure they are supplied with the materials, equipment, and services.
Essential Duties:
  • Develop all Purchase Orders in MP2 and communicate to vendors.
  • Execute weekly purchase requisitions for stock item replenishment; Procure stock/non-stock supplies, equipment, services and spare parts
  • Ensures proper purchasing request procedures are followed
  • Research, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support and availability; prepare specifications, solicitations, and request for proposals.
  • Purchase materials for Capital Project execution and manage all associated documents
  • Coordinate and assist with timing and delivery of purchases; Coordinate international shipping, customs clearance and HTS classification for incoming materials
  • Research products and equipment and provide input on new equipment specifications.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education/ Experience/Skills:
  • Solid working knowledge of purchasing, invoice documentation and cost allocation procedures.
  • Solid working knowledge and abilities with computers and related software (MP2 or current CMMS system. Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint, Communicator).
  • Basic knowledge and comfort with mathematical procedures.
  • General knowledge of machinery, parts, and brewing equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Percent of Travel: 0-10%
Working Conditions: Office

Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell's and New Belgium's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.

Starting Salary Range: $23.00 - $27.50
