Our office is expanding, and we are looking to hire the right individual to join our outstanding customer service team. We are currently seeking to fulfill a full-time position. Our Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our current clients and new prospects, processing policy change requests, maintain knowledge of our products, and answer any questions our clients may have.
Insurance industry or office experience and knowledge is not required but would be a greater benefit relating to customers in the beginning for this position. We will train the right person with the right skill set.
Responsibilities:
- Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
- Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
- Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
- Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
- Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
- Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.
- Educate clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs
- Strong work ethic and leadership skills.
- Driven and goal-oriented individual.
- Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations.
- Interested in a sales career, sales experience preferred
- No insurance experience required but must be willing to learn
- Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
