OVERVIEW OF THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

  • As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, performing reconciliations, and ensuring the integrity of our financial data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support month-end and year-end closing processes, providing accurate and timely financial reports.
  • Utilize your 3-4 years of accounting experience to analyze financial information and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Maintain and update accounting systems and software, ensuring that you are comfortable with accounting programs to streamline processes.
  • Play a crucial role in the preparation of financial statements, supporting audits, and adhering to compliance regulations.
  • Assist in the identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in our accounting operations.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to provide valuable insights and contribute to strategic financial decisions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 3-4 years of experience as a Staff Accountant.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and comfortable with accounting programs.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • CPA certification (preferred, but not required).
