Base pay range $60,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Healthcare Compliance Connections The Chief Compliance Officer is responsible for facilitating that regulatory compliance is maintained across the agency through compliance training, the performance of audits and development of plans of correction. The Chief Compliance Officer demonstratesknowledge of and loyalty to the organizations' mission, vision, and values. In addition, this position actively participates in assigned projectsand committees to enhance the agencys efforts to facilitate ongoing excellence and quality service delivery for both the people the organization supports and the staff who support them. The Chief Compliance Officer has independent access to the Board of Directors to identify and report any substantial Compliance Risks. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years healthcare compliance experience; Prior experience working with I/DD population; Knowledge of state and federal regulations as they pertain to Health Care Providers and operators of OPWDD services; Extensive knowledge of the NYS Office of Medicaid Inspector General's Compliance requirements; Familiarity of the New York State Justice Center; and Experience providing oversight and guidance relted to patient privacy requirments including HIPAA.
