About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Java Developer as part of Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology (CCIBT) with proficiency in the Banking and Finance sector. This position will be responsible for hands-on development, production support, automation and Build and Deploy.

In this role, you will:

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments

Contribute to large scale planning of strategies

Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments

Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures

Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals

Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

4+ years of experience in integrating applications with various databases including MongoDB and Oracle

4+ years of experience in creating reports for analytics with Tableau

3+ years of experience in deploying applications to cloud hosting platforms like AWS and PCF

2+ years of experience in automating, optimizing and managing business processes using RHPAM platform

1+ years of experience with AXON framework for event management

Desired Qualifications:

Expertise in writing efficient, scalable, and maintainable Java code

Expertise with Java Framework and Libraries and building robust applications

Knowledge of Java security best practices and secure coding principles to protect applications from vulnerabilities and attacks

Expertise with RIA framework to design reusable and maintainable components

Good understanding of CQRS pattern

Deep understanding of continuous integration and deployment pipeline using tools like Jenkins and GitHub

Proficient in using version control systems like GIT and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence to manage codebase changes and coordinate with teams

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills which enables to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement effective fixes in applications

Skilled in optimizing the performance of applications, identify performance bottlenecks and improve code efficiency

Experience with customer onboarding applications

Job Expectations:

Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends, holidays and on call

The ability to work onsite at the posted location(s), hybrid is currently available
