Our Challenge:

As a Senior Java Developer, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to work on complex technical requirements. You will be responsible for managing multiple engagements, prioritize and resolve complex problems and escalate as necessary, in a fast-paced environment.


The Role

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, efficient, and reliable Java code using Core Java, Multithreading, and Collections.
  2. Architect and implement Microservices-based solutions using Spring Boot and other relevant technologies.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
  4. Lead and mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and support.
  5. Identify performance bottlenecks, optimize application performance, and troubleshoot issues.
  6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.


Requirements:

You are:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  2. 9+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on Java development.
  3. Expertise in Core Java, including multithreading, concurrency, and collections framework.
  4. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and development using Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
  5. Experience with RESTful web services, API design, and integration.
  6. Proficiency in database design and SQL, with experience in working with relational databases.
  7. Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns.
  8. Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
  9. Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  10. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  11. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.


It would be great if you also had:

  1. Experience with cloud-based development and deployment (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  2. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  3. Familiarity with reactive programming and frameworks such as Akka or RxJava.
  4. Experience with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  5. Strong understanding of security principles and best practices in application development.
