Full time Procurement Specialist - 989

A growing consumer goods business in the e-commerce space is looking for a Procurement Specialist to join their procurement team.

The ideal candidate is motivated, data-driven, and analytical. They will primarily be responsible for working on projecting order quantities, managing inventory, and working on upstream issues to avoid products running out of stock.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize existing sales data to determine order quantities by factoring trend and seasonality for a wide range of products
  • Monitor Inventory levels and ensure adequate stock levels
  • Develop and track Key performance metrics for the procurement team for
  • Inventory levels, factory lead time, and raw material prices
  • Work on procurement related projects to better manage our inventory.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure new and trending products are being stocked adequately
  • Communicate with vendors, agents, warehouse managers, etc. in order to achieve a smooth operation
The overall goal of the procurement team is to be in stock on all products at the best possible price.

Qualifications
  • Growth oriented and looking to take on new challenges
  • Computer and data entry savvy with a working knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills


Salary: $100k - $120k/Year
