The essential responsibilities of the Gas Welder Installer Meters are to weld, repair, fit pipe and relight appliances in the installation and maintenance of commercial and industrial gas metering facilities.

Qualification Requirements
To perform the Gas Welder Installer Meters role, you must:
-Must have knowledge/ skills in welding, burning, and cutting.
-Must have a welder's certification from an accredited college, university, or agency. -Must successfully complete
Performance/ Hands-on Exercises and Physical Abilities Test within 6 months from the date of hire. -Must successfully complete Color-Blind Test I. -Must obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's license within 6 months from the date of hire. -
Have a valid Class A Commercial driver's license from state residence. -Must have a valid driver's license from state of
residence.

Physical Working Conditions

Works outside majority of time. Subject to hazards of fire, explosions, asphyxiation, electrical shock, exposure to high pressure gas, working around construction, weather, heavy lifting, working in uncomfortable positions, standing and walking for extended periods and climbing ladders.
