Director, Digital Marketing Operations

to lead our rental digital channel team to:

Drive rental and prospect engagement, conversion and retention.

Grow revenue via actionable insights and by improving every customer touchpoint.

Work cross-functionally to launch campaigns and deliver excellence in digital journeys.

Test and leverage new ways to reach rental guests and prospects as the digital landscape evolves.

Lead prioritization and execution of our engagement and communication strategy.

Build and develop a team of digital channel experts to support cross-channel strategy.

The ideal candidate will be creative, collaborative, efficient, analytical, and driven to continually find ways to optimize and improve performance. He/she will also have successful experience leading a cross-channel team with proven results in plan execution and delivery.
Reporting to the VP, Marketing, this leader will focus on transforming the way we engage our rental guests and prospects, across the organization, and reinventing the way we do business-as-usual through prioritization and innovative engagement strategies across email, affiliate, social, PPC, programmatic, retargeting and owned digital platforms. This leader will be the champion for digital execution within Global Rental Operations to support all internal business customers and marketing strategy partners.
How You'll Shine:

Define overall digital channel strategy, including paid media, email and affiliate to deliver on marketing and business goals.

Partner with marketing strategy and business leaders to intake plans, goals, KPIs and deliverables and ensure clear execution strategy with channel managers and agency partners.

Prioritize digital deliverables while communicating timelines, requirements, and budgets while managing expectations with internal stakeholders.

Work closely with data and analytics to identify key drivers of engagement as well as churn and act to continually improve engagement, conversion and retention efforts as well as establish the most effective targeting and personalization strategies.

Leverage marketing automation tools to develop transactional, promotional, and informational content strategies that maximize customer retention and loyalty.

Define critical KPIs in each digital channel to test and refine all communications continually optimizing results.

Identify opportunities to further drive revenue through channels and improve marketing efficiencies.

Manage a multi-million-dollar annual budget inclusive of media, resources, technology and partnerships.

Lead CRM for rental to closely to manage and optimize email campaigns and push notification programs to drive engagement of existing rental guests and loyalty members and retention efforts to combat churn.

Lead affiliate marketing strategy including placements, pricing, offers and optimizations as well competitive research, knowledge and opportunities within the digital affiliate universe.

Report on key drivers and performance metrics for various campaigns to optimize decision making and maximize conversions.

Work with partners to implement necessary tracking configurations to enable web analytics across all assets and campaigns to enable performance reporting.

Work with integration teams and data analytics platforms to enable reporting, modeling and business insights.

Partner and manage relationship, contracts and budgeting with key external vendors including digital agency of record and marketing technology suppliers

Travel Requirements:
Domestic travel within the US and Caribbean is required less than 10% of the time.
What You'll Bring:

Bachelors Degree in related field

A minimum of 10 or more years of digital marketing and media experience

Previous experience with a timeshare, hospitality or online travel agency a plus

Excellent leadership skills with ability to build, develop and motivate a team.

Demonstrated experience developing digital channel strategies across social, mobile, PPC, programmatic, affiliate and email marketing.

Strong working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, LiveRamp, Google Analytics and AdWords.

Experience defining enterprise text/SMS, email, and other channel communication strategy, governance, and technology.

Experience in managing external media agency and other vendor partners.

Proven ability to plan, manage and optimize multiple media budgets

Passionate about engaging customers, driving transactions and building a strong retention business.

Strong attention to detail and highly analytical.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent and proven critical thinking skills to quickly evaluate issues, troubleshoot, and prioritize accordingly.

Confident presence, executive manner, comfortable with managing complexity and navigating ambiguity.

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple internal business partner needs.

Ability to develop strong relationships with various business stakeholders through partnership and collaboration.

Ability to work effectively across teams globally to achieve results in a matrixed corporate environment while maintaining alignment with business partners, digital teams, IT partners and legal.

Microsoft office with a proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

10+ years experience in marketing and e-commerce, preferably in travel, hospitality, or timeshare

Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, specifically in the hospitality or related industry including experience in email marketing, affiliate marketing, push, SMS, search, display, programmatic, retargeting and loyalty.

Ability to demonstrate a successful track record in traffic and revenue growth.
