LOB Specific Overview:

Serve as the Relationship Manager and primary contact for the Segment Executives for all issues related to business controls including compliance testing, risk assessments, Self-Identified Audit Issues, remediation activity, and emerging risks in the business. Will ensure that the Segment Executives and their leadership team are tightly connected to the business controls priorities for their LOB, and the segment is executing against key controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Issues Management: Lead remediation efforts for Audit, SIAI, MRA, & Control Enhancements
  • Provide Business Controls updates and reporting at the segment level:
    • Issue summary milestones reports on all issues
    • Review QC & HRSP trends and data
    • Partner to vet new issues for review with partners for self-identification
    • Drive risk identification culture within the business
    • Single point of contact for Risk/Compliance based initiatives
    • Ensures Segment Executives & Leadership are tightly connected to the business controls priorities and executing against key controls
Enterprise Description Overview:
  • Manages multiple major operations segment or multiple operations units of a dissimilar nature for a site, region or product line within the company's internal operations activities. Functions managed have high monetary exposure and risk involving the processing of large $ volumes and regulatory restrictions. Requires a working knowledge of end to end processes since decisions have significant impact affecting multiple and diverse operations and product lines. Resolves broad operational issues and coordinates activities and processes across lines of business and operations segments. Requires interaction with other lines of business as well as their own line of business to provide strategic direction and problem resolution. Identifies, analyzes and resolves complex problems related to product lines or functions, using general practices and precedents to resolve. Develops and analyzes procedures to enhance unit and/or product-related activity. Responsible for budget/expense management, reporting and forecasting for areas managed. Ensures proper communication and compliance of company and regulatory policies affecting areas managed. Awareness of Six Sigma/Lean practices and change management preferred. Directly manages 4-8 associates that are typically includes at least one Band 4 associate and other middle managers. May manage department(s) that have 250 plus associates that cover multiple shifts/complex
    Required Skills:
  • 3- 5 years current Home Loan experience (Non Tech & Ops))
  • 3+ years experience with Business Controls, Risk, Process Design, Compliance, Product Management and/or Audit within a Business operational function (Non Tech & Ops)
  • Experience using analytics and critical thinking skills to develop strategies and appropriate business controls to remediate risk (Implementation to Execution)
  • Home Loan Contact Center Leadership experience
  • Strong Communication- written and oral
  • Strong presentations skills- written and oral
  • Ability to influence across the organization across Senior Executives and with key partners: Legal, Risk, and Compliance
  • Proven ability to lead and influence
  • Ability to adjust and react with optimism and professionalism- solution oriented
  • Attention to detail and ability to hold others accountable without direct supervision
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment
Desired Skills:
  • 5+ years Process Design, Risk Management and Issue Management
