Facility: Morton Plant Hospital - PATHOLOGY Location: Clearwater, FL Status: PRN Exempt: No Shift Hours: 10:00AM - 4:00PM Weekend Work: Occasional On Call: No Responsibilities: The Lab Medical Assistant IV is responsible for: Assists the technical staff within the technical departments Handles any and all manual pretesting procedures including waived testing as required Works in a team environment Demonstrates organizational, time management, analytical, delegation, written, and verbal skills Use computer skills appropriate to position Must have customer service and interpersonal skills Knowledge of regulatory standards appropriate to position Identifies problems and implements and/or recommends solutions Performs other duties as assigned Certification & Licensure: Required Driver's License (if applicable) Required ASCP / SCYM (if applicable) Required AMT Medical Technologists (if applicable) Required ASPT Phlebotomy Technicians (if applicable) Education: Required High School or Equivalent Preferred Technical Science Preferred Associate's Experience: Required 1 year in related field Preferred 2 years in related field BayCare offers a competitive total reward package including: Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) Paid Time Off Tuition Assistance 401K Match and additional yearly contribution Annual performance appraisals and team award bonus Family resources and wellness opportunities Community perks and discounts Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled
