Duties/Responsibilities:

* Review and verify invoices and check requests. * Sort, code, and match invoices. * Set invoices up for payment and process check requests. * Prepare and process accounts payable checks, wire transfers, and ACH payments. * Reconcile accounts payable transactions. * Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date. * Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues. * Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries. * Produce monthly reports and assist with month-end closing. * Provide supporting documentation for audits. * Assist with other projects as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

* Proven working experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist (or Accounts Payable Clerk). * Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles. * High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities. * Excellent data entry skills. * Proficiency in Excel and accounting software. * Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports. * Strong organizational and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Education and Experience:

* Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience. * Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks, preferred. * Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
