Comunilife Inc.is looking to fill anAdministrative Assistant positionin itscongregate program in the Bronx.The La Central Administrative Assistant is responsible for the office administrative functions program including maintaining leases, client entitlements, answering telephones, etc. The Administrative Assistant supports procurement policies and procedures, orders office supplies, and prepares and maintains related program Office reports/records.

This position is eligible for Comunilife's generous benefit and paid time off package.

Essential Duties:

+ Manages office supply inventory, filing and petty cash

+ Updates and maintains resources

+ Completes or supports basic functions of bookkeeping and basic accounting

+ Tracks client contributions for rent

+ Maintains electronic database as appropriate

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirement(s)Minimum High School Diploma with strong computer skills; Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and other commonly used software required. Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus. Experience in HIV/AIDS adult population, health and/or human service environment, bilingual (Spanish) preferred. Familiarity with government procedures, fiscal functions helpful. Knowledge of HIV/AIDS, homeless related information and issues, a plus.
