What you will do 

Performs assigned system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools.  

Troubleshoots and resolves HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control problems. 

Maintain Metasys equipment to include servers, engines, controllers, and peripheral devices.

How you will do it 

Create and commission Metasys software. Performs complex commissioning and system diagnostics from server level to end devices (i.e., sensors, actuators, etc.) and completes all required commissioning documentation and reporting. 

Keeps management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues. 

Calibrates systems requiring basic electronic test equipment.  

Completes administrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.  

Documents change and provide information for as built documentation. 

Communicates with the JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site. 

Follows all safety standards and attends required safety training.  High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.

Successfully integrates 3rd party equipment into the system.

What we look for 

Required 

Demonstrated technical aptitude.  

Understanding of how systems report to each other and their protocols.

Computer skills required. 

Can function well in word and excel.

Attention to detail.   

Effective communication and listening skills.   

 Ability to work alone and with a team.

Previous building automation a plus

Willing to travel.

Preferred 

Experience in Tridium

Demonstrated knowledge of Control systems. 

Ability to solve problems.

Familiar with programming

Good communication skills
