We have an immediate opening for a Logistics Specialist working for one of the largest Oil and Gas suppliers of hydraulic frac sand in America.

THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE POSITION

LOGISTICS SPECIALIST - ABOUT THE JOB:
Working for one of the leading oilfield suppliers of hydraulic frac sand in North America a Logistics Specialists, your primary responsibility is to facilitate the loading and unloading of sand containers, including:
  • Process orders in a timely manner
  • Assign trucks and drivers to specific work orders
  • Maintain communication with customers, drivers, dispatchers, and carriers
  • Manage high call volume, emails during your shift, and software tracking system
  • Ensure accuracy of trip records, BOLs and other load data
  • Perform problem solving to ensure safe and timely deliveries
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
JOB LOCATIONS:
  • Odessa, TX
SHIFTS - ROTATIONAL SCHEDULE:
  • 12-hour Shift Rotations
    • Rotation of 6am or 6pm start time
  • 10 Days on/5 Days off shift rotation including evenings, weekends, and holidays
    • Dispatch operates 24/7, 365 days/year
  • Evening work can be performed remote
  • Days in office: Mon-Thu
  • Fridays work remote
  • Work 12++hours/day = lots of overtime
COMPENSATION:
  • $20.00 - $21.00/hr. DOE
  • Lots of Overtime Will earn approximately $80,000 with overtime

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

High School equivalent or greater
Ability to work flexible schedule
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task with attention to detail
Previous dispatching experience a plus
Previous experience in oil and gas a plus
