Pay: $8.98 + tips

Summary: Join our dynamic team at By the Sea Resorts as a Tiki Bar Bartender/Server We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender/Server at our lively Tiki Bar, you will mix and serve delicious cocktails while providing friendly and efficient service in a tropical-themed atmosphere.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and take orders promptly, providing recommendations and answering any questions about the menu.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking inventory, replenishing supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, processing payments and reconciling cash drawers at the end of each shift.
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and adhere to responsible serving practices, including checking identification and refusing service when necessary.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely delivery to guests.
  • Provide attentive and personalized service to guests, anticipating their needs and exceeding their expectations.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, glassware, and utensils.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a bartender and/or server in a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, beers, and wine, as well as proper bartending techniques and mixology skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume setting, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Must be reliable and able to fill in for shifts as needed due to call-outs.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Weekly pay and benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, and more.

Additional Information: This position is full-time and may require evening and weekend work. Must be able to fill in if there are call-outs that are not able to be filled.
