Our diverse portfolio includes providing full lifecycle support in Precision Strike and Area Effects; Area Protection; Airborne Sensors and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR); Vehicle Protection; Electronic Warfare Systems; Air and Missile Defense; Space Systems, and Intelligence and Information Systems.
Responsibilities:
The position will focus leading current and future radar system design and production. The position will support technology developments, technology insertions, prototyping and technology demonstrations in support of a mission critical and highly visible new program. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Performing complex radar system engineering, design, analysis, or sensor software development.
- Provide supervisory experience sufficient to ensure positive direction/oversight of more junior engineers.
- Experienced in formulating opinions, decisions and ultimate performance of the engineering tasks associated with the radar/sensor program/project.
- Perform detailed and complex calculations and knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced radar systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, computer or electronics engineering. Other acceptable majors include mathematics, computer science or physics.
- A minimum of 15 years industry and/or DoD experience (12 years with accredited master's degree, 8 with an accredited Ph.D degree)
- A minimum of active secret clearance and US Citizenship required
- Demonstrated experience in radio frequency hardware design and/or fabrication
- Knowledge of antenna engineering
- Working knowledge of signal processing and electronic protection (counter-counter measures)
- Experience and ability to perform detailed complex calculations and knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced radar systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration
- Program level engineering experience in major sensor systems
- Capability in packaging and communicating data products for effective communication
