CLEAR is seeking a Benefits Specialist to join our Benefits team. In this role, you'll be a trusted resource for employees, guiding them through their benefits options and ensuring programs are administered with accuracy, compliance, and care. You'll manage health, welfare, retirement, and leave programs while helping to shape our benefits strategy and deliver a best-in-class employee experience. What You'll Do: Serve as a trusted advocate and resource for employees regarding benefits questions, issues, and escalations Manage leave and claims programs: Oversee all leave of absence processes (FMLA, ADA, disability, Paid Family Leave, Workers' Compensation), serving as the main point of contact for employees throughout their leave experience Administer health, welfare, and retirement Plans: Manage employee enrollments, changes, and terminations across all benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, COBRA, and 401(k), ensuring accurate recordkeeping and payroll deductions Ensure compliance and reporting accuracy: Maintain compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, IRS, and other federal/state/local regulations by preparing and reviewing required reports (Form 5500, nondiscrimination testing, and summary plan descriptions) Oversee vendor and broker relationships: Partner with external providers to reconcile billing, resolve escalations, and enhance service delivery while monitoring performance to ensure alignment with company standards Drive employee education and engagement: Conduct benefit orientations, lead Open Enrollment planning and communications, and provide ongoing training and resources to help employees understand and maximize their benefits Support strategic benefits initiatives: Collaborate with Senior Benefits Manager to assess and enhance benefit offerings, lead ad-hoc projects, make recommendations, and implement new programs that align with company strategy and employee needs How You'll Measure Success: Resolution time and employee satisfaction with benefits support Accuracy of payroll file processing and vendor billing Compliance results in audits and reporting Quality of leave tracking and coordination Clear communication channels established with People team stakeholders What You're Great At: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience 3-5+ years of U.S. benefits administration experience in a mid-to-large organization Deep knowledge of health, welfare, retirement benefits, and leave administration Excellent Excel and HRIS skills (Workday experience preferred) Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a focus on employee service How You'll Be Rewarded: At CLEAR, we help YOU move forward - because when you're at your best, we're at our best. The base salary range for this role is $80,000-$100,000, depending on levels of skills and experience. Salaries will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to location, education, skills, experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of CLEAR's total compensation package for employees and other rewards may include annual bonuses, commission, Restricted Stock Units.
