About the Role
As a senior leader, you will ensure excellence in delivery for the entireTax Filing organization. Oversee and manage the client delivery of taxfiling, directly and indirectly, through colleagues and managers.
ResponsibilitiesOverseeing client delivery and satisfaction in Tax Filing. This includesensuring timely and accurate responses to clients and partner teams.Additionally, it involves resolving escalations promptly and representingTax Filing effectively in client meetings.Monitoring and auditing tasks to identify trends and improvementopportunities. You will lead process enhancement efforts and drive positiveoutcomes. Your responsibilities will also include developing, reviewing,and communicating completion of Root Cause Analysis (RCA).Seeking a candidate with excellent communication and team facilitation skillsto engage with clients and internal departments. The role involves ensuringsuccessful client delivery and effectively communicating complex issues toclients.Supporting and providing timely research on compliance and regulatory issues.Facilitate issues requiring higher level escalation.Ensuring and supporting compilation, reporting, and analyzing of metrics.Ability to utilize metrics to drive improvements and close process gaps.Resolving and facilitating open items to resolution ensuring alignment withTax Filing point of view.Educating clients and providing subject matter expertise for payroll taxfiling.Mentoring and developing managers and colleagues, to include performance andaccountability.Managing Tax Filing suppliers, as appropriate, to support accurate andtimely delivery.Coordinating and/or providing needed training for new colleagues orprocesses. Coordinate and support SOP development, training, andcommunication to team.
Requirements7+ years payroll tax filing or a related field.Display advanced understanding of payroll tax filing and knowledge ofregulations and legislative requirements.Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills.3+ years client interaction and management experience.5+ years people management experience.Experience leading managers and/or team leads.Possess exceptional computer skills with current technical knowledge.Experience with Payroll tax software.Flexible WorkingSo that you can be your best at work and home, we consider flexible workingarrangements wherever possible.Alight has been a leader in the flexibleworkspace and "Top 100 Company for Remote Jobs" 5 years in a row.
