Job Overview: The Training Specialist plays a critical role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of employees within our client's organization. This position involves developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs that ensure employees are well-equipped to meet the technical and operational demands of their roles. The Training Specialist is crucial in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of various departments.
  • Facilitate training sessions on technical systems, including the Incenium system, and other necessary platforms.
  • Plan and coordinate training schedules to ensure minimal disruption to regular operations.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  • Simplify and document training processes to enhance accessibility and understanding.
  • Provide supervisory support and guidance to trainees during the training process.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and priorities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in training and development.
Requirements include:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
Experience:
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing training programs.
  • Experience in supervisory roles and managing training processes.
  • Background in manufacturing, oil and gas, military, or retail industry preferred.
Skills:
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in technical systems and software relevant to the industry.
  • Ability to adapt to new systems and technologies quickly.

  • Adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn and teach new technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex processes for better understanding.

Additional Information:
  • Work Environment: Primarily office-based with some requirements to visit training sites.
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal travel, primarily within the local area.
  • Reporting Structure: Reports to the HR Manager or Training Department Head.
