If you are located near a major metropolitan area within California (Los Angeles, Orange County, Sacramento, San Diego, or Greater San Francisco Bay Area), you will have the flexibility to work as you take on some tough challenges. Will be traveling to hospital and different locations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop territory sales plan

Research and identify sales targets

Make cold calls

Use consultative sales process, probe for customer information and barriers

Develop creative solutions to gain profitable business

Creates relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers

Close sales

Serve needs of medical practice accounts and solve issues

Manage territory T&E and customer related expenses

Travel 50% with occasional evening or weekend event participation

2+ years of experience in medical device, pharma, specialty pharmacy sales and/or business-to-business sales

Proficient use of Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point

Proven track record of sales success

Live in California - within close proximity to an airport

Preferred Qualifications:

Multiple Sclerosis/Parkinson's Disease, Neurology, Autoimmune, Oncology or Gastroenterology therapy sales experience

Experience selling to Neurologists or Neurology offices

Experience using Salesforce and/or CRM experience

Experience using Tableau and/or Territory Data management experience

California Residents Only:

The salary range for

this role

is $60,000 to $130,000 annually. Role is also eligible to receive bonuses based on sales performance.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
