YOUR DAY

As a Foster Care Case Specialist, your responsibilities will revolve around the facilitation of reunification efforts between children and their biological parents or the exploration of adoption or guardianship options. Regular client visits and interactions with various stakeholders will be integral to your role. Ensuring the provision of necessary services and maintaining detailed documentation will be essential in your daily activities.

YOUR HOURS

The social work position entails a standard 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday. Additionally, participation in an after-hours emergency on-call rotation is required.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, education, or another field in human services
  • 2+ years of experience in foster care or out-of-home care provision OR a master's degree in a related field
  • Licensure by DCFS or eligibility for licensure
  • Ability and willingness to complete the children and residential experiences (CARE) and therapeutic crisis intervention (TCI) training
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
  • At least 21 years old
