FirstPro is now accepting resumes for a Datawarehouse Developer position based in Woburn, MA. This role will focus on creating datawarehouse designs/structures, design, automate, schedule and load jobs, ETL processes, and visualizing data. This is a permanent, direct-hire role that can offer benefits and a hybrid remote/onsite schedule.

This position is unable to sponsor working visas at this time.

Responsibilities
Assist with creating warehouse designs/structures that enable easy, natural end-user access with selected business intelligence platform(s).
Design, automate, schedule, and load jobs necessary to extract core data from multiple data sources and environments into the data warehouse.
Provide recommendations in the selection of DBMS, ETL, and associated tools appropriate for current and future needs of the decision support system.
Ensure efficient processing on an ongoing basis including data consistency of data attributes, naming conventions, and element value types.
Possess knowledge regarding data content/definitions and the use of business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI.
Hands-on development experience in ETL (Extract, Transform & Load), using tools such as SAS Enterprise Guide, Informatica, or DataStage.
Able to identify next steps when given an assignment or task and asks question when unsure, to prevent unnecessary delays in responses and timelines.
Advocate for our internal and external customers and serve as the conduit with multiple teams and vendors through which requirements flow to deliver solutions.
Translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible; Ability to collaborate with cross-functional software teams to ensure development aligns with the requirements.
Ability to work in a fast-paced department independently or in a team and handle multiple tasks with competing priorities; work with interruptions and deal effectively with confidential information.

Requirements
Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or other related discipline and/or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
3+ years of related experience including testing, debugging, documenting and/or maintaining applications or using applications in a business setting, healthcare background preferred.
Experience programming in SAS or SPSS.
Ability to extract and merge data from multiple platforms; experience with creating a Data Warehouse, including the steps involved in the lifecycle of its development.
Strong SQL programming skills and related database experience.
Knowledge and understanding of DBMS technology and ETL processes.
Knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security requirements.
