ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; however other duties may be assigned based on business need:
- Maintain the NextGen database of financial reporting requirements and covenants (together, "Tracking Items") for the entire Commercial Loan portfolio. Upload various Tracking Items to NextGen for appropriate electronic storage.
- Review monthly Tracking Items and Loan Maturities reports for overdue and missing items and proactively and effectively follow up with internal stakeholder to minimize exceptions and ensure alignment of credit administration activities with the institution's overall goals and objectives.
- Provide Quality Control for loan booking systems, credit and legal files, and the loan approval process.
- Update/maintain Credit Dept. reports, including Policy Exceptions, Annual Reviews, Franchise Loans, Delinquencies, and Securities Collateral reports.
- Assist with the Managed Assets Planning, Watch List, and Allowance for Credit Losses (ACL) processes.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports for Executive Management and Board of Trustees.
- Attend Credit Dept. meetings, including weekly delinquency reviews, and handle follow-up tasks as necessary.
- Assist in preparing for audit and regulatory reviews and follow up on issues post-review.
- Assist underwriters by running credit bureau reports, LexisNexis reports, and OFAC/CAIVRS checks, and provide other administrative tasks as necessary.
- Assist with vendor management and appraisal engagement functions.
- Manage other Credit Administration projects as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate degree preferred, and one plus year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Credit administration training and understanding of documents involved are required.
