The perfect candidate will possess intellectual curiosity, enthusiasm, strategic problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and self-motivation, backed by a robust background in compliance and some technology experience. You will work closely with legal and compliance subject matter experts to develop, manage and implement a strategy for meeting the business objectives compliantly. The Director of Global Marketplace Compliance plays an essential role of ensuring regulatory compliance is satisfied as the Walmart business expands its presence within the Global Marketplace.What you'll do... Partner with the business to deliver against global marketplace initiatives Coordinate across Compliance and Legal to execute ensure global marketplace initiatives meet regulatory and legal requirements Develop and implement a strategy that ensures that the business initiatives satisfy the pillars of an effective compliance program Collaborate with Walmart Technology and Compliance subject matter experts to implement technology necessary for an effective compliance program Draft policies and standards that define process and control guidelines necessary to implement compliant global marketplace initiatives Lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of candor, mutual trust, and shared vision, and consistently achieving exceptional results Identify potential risks and communicate them to leadership promptly.What you'll bring...
