This includes developing year-long strategic plans, creating and executing campaigns, managing budgets, and leading projects and team members. The Marketing Director also provides strategic leadership, from a market and product perspective, to the management team.Essential functions and responsibilities:Responsible for the annual marketing plan, strategy, and teamDrive the implementation of marketing campaigns that meet business objectivesDirect and support market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data for short- and long-term market forecasts and reportsLead a diverse team of talent in a demanding environment with high performance expectations while developing and managing an annual department budgetIn conjunction with the Operations and Business Development teams, develop the strategy and create the message for presentationsCoach the teams for successful presentationsManage the strategic pursuit lifecycle including oversight of materials developed during pursuit.Oversee the implementation of the advertising, public relations and marketing strategy.Direct all mass and social media marketing including company website maintenance, corporate branding, and special events coordination.Work with internal and external business partners to support the design, development and compliance of marketing collateral including advertising, proposals, and presentations.Work with the Director of Business Development to manage and continuously develop the strategic initiatives to support the business development team's efforts including informational packets, proposals, and presentations.Drive the development of targeted content that aligns with the CK WayLead brand perception research and leverage other research available to refine objectives and strategies; and to evaluate effectiveness and optimize performance for teamDefine key performance indicators, and meet and exceed performance targetsConduct in-depth assessments of the performance of marketing campaigns, events and digital marketing efforts on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Present findings to senior management team to support business plan development, forecasting and future implementation.Utilize assessment results to decrease marketing spendDevelop a deep understanding of the construction industry and its changing market dynamics for strategic planning and growth.SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skillsBe a team player and collaboratorAbility to prepare written documentation and proposal requestsPossess persuasive and creative writing skills.Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitudeExpert level knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suiteeducation and experience:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field required.
