We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team as our Material Coordinator. The Material Coordinator/Inventory Control Specialist maintains the coordinated flow and inventory of material, parts, equipment, and tools within the 840 After Sales Service Center and provides support to the in-store watchmakers in accordance with production requirements and shipping schedules. In this position the Material Coordinator reviews the approved service estimates and confers with the Service Manager(s) to determine material and parts required, orders and maintains stock levels on high volume parts based on production volumes, as well as arrange and maintain transfers and support to in-store watchmakers to meet production and job turn-around schedules. This position would also coordinate the exchange of parts with manufactures based on the requirements provided by the manufacture as well as coordinate tool and equipment repair with appropriate vendors. All material, parts, equipment, and tool would be examined and verified and the invoices submitted to appropriate departments **Responsibilities:** * Performs tasks such as shipping, receiving, inspecting, etc. repair parts & materials * Reading and interpreting work orders/job estimates, part lists, shipping and receiving documents, etc. * Documenting and maintaining parts requisitions, picking instructions, etc. * Apply basic mathematics to calculate inventory parts and supplies, etc. * Set up and operate a variety of simple measuring devices: calipers, etc. * Digitally input, retrieve, and interpret information for ordering, inventory and tracking of stock. * Maintain tools and equipment inventory and work area inventory. * Consolidate parts and assemble into parts kits, water resistant material kits, etc. * Prepare parts for storage. * Stock and issue a variety of parts including solvents and cleaning materials. * Verify materials and merchandise as received against receiving documents: Reports discrepancies and damage. * Receive & store all parts and equipment to prescribed storage location. * Maintain a report of all inventoried materials. * Remove and invoice material and parts from storage and prepare it for shipment to stores if necessary. * Order parts, tools, materials, and equipment as required. * Review and analyze production requirements to determine parts, materials, and actions necessary to ensure the availability of sufficient parts or equipment to meet schedules. * Identify, investigate, analyze, and coordinate the resolution of problems to ensure adherence to quality standards, schedules and budgets for material costs. * May need to perform in-depth analysis of complex problems related to material requirement, inventories, schedules and configuration control. * Responsible for Timing and Quality Control of completed repairs. * Other duties as needed. **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** * Computer experience and competency. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Publisher, etc. * Attention to detail and strong organizational skills * High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) This position offers benefits that include employee merchandise discounts, paid training, Employee Assistance Program and paid time off, such as: vacation, sick, holidays, bereavement and jury duty.
