Job Overview

Collaborate with the entire organization to develop, maintain, and continuously improve quality, drive safety & quality initiatives in the products that we produce and to support a systematic approach to service and manufacture of customer equipment.

Responsible for working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality to ensure internal planning, service centers, and suppliers have KMC requirements to produce acceptable products, which meet the customer's final specifications.

The position is responsible for reviewing engineering released and revised materials/drawings. Determine applicable KMC work instructions, processes, procedures, quality plans, inspection requirements, manufacturing build plans, fixture requirements, etc. that will accompany highly engineered product.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Identify/Review/Interrupt engineering drawings to determine downstream requirements related to quality, manufacturing, operations, etc.
  • Create part specific documents using a variety of tools. IE; Word, Excel, Power Point, Inventor, SAP, etc.
  • Broad knowledge of SAP Quality Module
  • Release ECM's in SAP for documents created relevant to quality, manufacturing, operations, etc.
  • Create/Update/Maintain SAP Quality Plans for receiving inspection as it relates to critical products.
  • Develop, maintain, and update inspection plans in SAP relative to new and revised products/materials.
  • Maintain and update COPQ metrics for AMNO via PowerBI and Teams utilizing SAP.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Associate degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering, or related discipline (business, engineering/technical, etc.).
  • Minimum four years of job experience in manufacturing or supply chain, quality assurance/control, cost of quality management, production/supplier quality support, quality training, inspection & test management/planning is preferred for this role.
  • Team building activities in bringing together key people in the organization.
  • Networking skills in establishing and maintaining appropriate contacts.
  • Skills to transmit effectively the required tasks and outcomes, to all levels in the organization.
  • Various interpersonal skills including selection, listening, collecting information, and identifying concerns of others.
  • Travel requirements: Up to 15%, regional areas of travel to include US, Canada, and Mexico. Valid US driver's license and ability to fly.
