Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Advisor to join our team at Waves, Inc. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our adult program operations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Participating in the agency's Person-Centered Planning process as a PCP Team member.
  • Overseeing the application of THERAP documentation, liaising with THERAP representatives, and training new employees on Therap applications.
  • Assisting with reviewing and interpreting written responses from the monitoring entity to the agency regarding contract compliance.
  • Collecting and evaluating data on unannounced site visits, medication variances, falls, reportable incidents, investigations, and emergency drills.
  • Conducting chart audits and identifying potential trends in service delivery.
  • Participating in all necessary training to perform duties effectively.
  • Coordinating data entry of Service Plans, Individual Support Plans, cost plans, and other quality-related data.
  • Serving as backup to the Incident Management Coordinator and participating in the incident management committee.
  • Monitoring THERAP contact notes, attendance, and billing.
  • Compiling annual satisfaction surveys of family, staff, and individuals supported.
  • Assisting with the preparation and response of the Quality Assurance Survey, Licensure, and Financial Accountability Review (FAR) audit.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge of the service system for individuals with developmental disabilities in Tennessee or the ability to learn it.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with professional staff.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
  • Knowledge of computer skills, including Word, Excel, and databases.
  • A valid Tennessee driver's license.
  • Flexibility in scheduling work hours.
