**Sales Manager for process control applications and advanced solutions in Industrial Digitalization**

IPCOS serves a wide range of **international process and allied industries** such as chemicals, fertilizers, gas processing, upstream oil & gas, refining, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, power, waste, and utilities. Its project services range from technical consulting to technology integration, to complete project delivery and long-term support, covering the whole value chain from field equipment to the boardroom.

The IPCOS portfolio of solutions and services currently covers the following core areas: Monitoring and Alarming Automated Reporting Process Control and Optimization Advanced Process Control (APC) Data Management Analytics and Modeling Real Time Optimization Technical Consulting.

IPCOSs project base currently totals more than 500 projects in 50 locations in 30 countries. To service its worldwide clients, IPCOS operates from offices in Belgium, UK, Netherlands, India (2 locations), UAE and USA.

We are looking to hire a **Sales Manager** to support IPCOSs further growth in the **EU region**. Our new Sales Manager will be based in Leuven (Belgium) or Boxtel (The Netherlands).

**Role** **and responsibilities**:

* You are the customer interface responsible for the development of new business, new relationships, and management of relationships with strategic customers.

* You act as a Business partner with potential customers, establishing strategic relationships & maximizing the business potential for both parties.

* You understand the customers business and organization and have a good understanding of the services that IPCOS can bring to the customer to drive to real business outcomes.

* From a business development perspective, you identify market and client opportunities, your craft creative pursuit strategies, and provide subject matter expertise.

* You disseminate key messages, new initiatives, technical insights and information related to the value IPCOS brings to that specific customer at all levels of the customers organization. You discuss relevant trends, integrating industry knowledge and solution knowledge.

* You look after your customers needs and requirements within the IPCOS organization.

* You respond to RFPs and are responsible for bid preparation, follow-up, negotiation and closing of sales.

* You provide IPCOS management team with account updates, sales forecasts, etc.

**Profile**:

* You ideally hold a degree in engineering, which you combine with a broad knowledge of sales principles and best practices.

* You have significant experience in a consultative selling role in the EU region.

* You have a good understanding of process control offerings like Advanced Process Control (APC) / real time optimization / alarm management / PID tuning.

* You have a solid interest in concepts like IoT, Machine Learning, Advanced analytics, etc.

* You have an understanding of IPCOS value proposition and the client and competitor landscape in the process and energy industry.

* Native English speaker or a strong English-speaking background is preferred. Other languages (French, German, Spanish) are a big plus.

* You have excellent communication skills and an ability to influence customers, while maintaining healthy relationships.

* You have a hands-on mentality and love to take ownership and initiative.

* You travel extensively (25% to 50% of the time), mainly in the European region.
