In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

Customer Service:

  • Act as the Point of Contact and IHFA subject matter expert for mortgage lenders, brokers, realtors and borrowers.
  • Perform and support all lock desk duties. Provide education and complete pricing support to our lending partners.
  • Act as 'Scenario Desk' and IHFA mortgage product and services specialist.
  • Provide Lender Connection training for Idaho lenders.
  • Help coordinate training for our broker partners in Encompass and TPO Connect.
Marketing:
  • Assist the Business Development Supervisor with the preparation of production and market reports.
  • Work with the Business Development Supervisor to facilitate training for lenders, mortgage brokers and real estate agents.
  • On-site monthly visits to IHFA lending partners.
Data Management:
  • Maintain lender referral system and related databases.
  • Assist in updating All-Regs as needed.
  • Maintain Exceptions and Former Foreclosure spreadsheets.
Special Projects:
  • Assist the Business Development Supervisor with special projects.
  • Assist in preparing for training and seminars.
  • Assist wherever needed within department.
Personal Development:
  • Participate in training and in cross-training on an individual basis and with department staff.
  • Foster a team atmosphere.
  • Attend job-related classes and seminars to acquire necessary job-related knowledge as approved.
May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications to be successful in this role:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Two years of experience in residential loan processing, closing or servicing, or a combination of education, customer service and experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees, lenders, customer and clients.
  • Ability to work independently, schedule, organize, prioritize and complete job responsibilities.
  • Working knowledge of Encompass TPO Connect and Optimal Blue preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel preferred.
