LEO Events is an award-winning, full-service brand-experience agency. Since its founding in 2012, the LEO Events team has showcased fresh and fearless creativity, inventive tactics, and an exceptionally collaborative approach. LEO's increasingly diverse staff of nearly 100 full-time employees is distributed across the country and in three offices - Memphis, Nashville, and Chattanooga, Tennessee. LEO's work is intentionally entrenched in the latest advancements, research, and data, ensuring that all events - virtual, live, and hybrid - uphold a strong connection between brands and people. LEO's clientele includes national and international brands such as Walmart, AutoZone, Sherwin-Williams, Nissan, and Hilton.

Position Summary:
LEO Events is searching for driven, motivated, and eager interns for Summer 2025. Opportunities vary depending on interest, competencies, and skillset. Ideal candidates are currently enrolled or have recently graduated from a 4-year university with a concentration in hospitality management, communications, public relations, broadcast media, entertainment, film & video, or another related field. This internship provides hands-on experience in an exciting, fast-paced, and collaborative environment, with ample opportunities to develop skills and learn from experienced professionals.

Internships are based out of one of our three offices and are ineligible for remote work. Descriptions of departments/positions are below. Upon applying, candidates are asked which department(s) they are interested in most. Opportunities include:

Qualifications:
  • Enrolled or recently graduated from a 4-year university with a concentration in hospitality management, communications, public relations, broadcast media, entertainment, film & video, or another related field
  • Must provide cover letter, resume, and portfolio of work (if applicable)
Competencies:
  • Knowledge in Mac OSX
  • Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Respect and maintain confidentiality and professionalism, both internally and for clients
  • Ability to interact collaboratively and cross-functionally among different team members and departments
  • For media , must have basic camera and gear knowledge, with a creative filming style. Knowledge of video-editing software such as Adobe Premiere is required
  • For graphic design , must have experience working in Adobe Suite
