Intermodal Load Coordinator
A growing trucking company in Philadelphia has an opening for an Intermodal Load Coordinator to handle various functions within the dispatch department.

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate haul requests to drivers via offered communication methods.
  • Understand driver and vehicle capability to perform the requested load.
  • Promptly communicate any delays, issues, or concerns with completing the requested load to customers.
  • Answer inbound calls, manage emails and plan loads for available owner operators.
  • Close orders and process paperwork to assist with billing.

Experience:
  • High school or equivalent education (Preferred)
  • Dispatching: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Preferably at least 1 year experience in the transportation field.
  • Self-starter who is organized and thorough with attention to detail and thrives in a bustling environment.
  • Strong PC knowledge, including Microsoft Office Suite and the companys current transportation system.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and communication skills required.
  • Troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical skills required.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
