Our Learning Management System (LMS) Specialist will innovate, revitalize, and scale AORN's digital learning portfolio, as we shape digital learning solutions that inspire the next generation of perioperative nursing professionals. This role bridges the gap between learning design and technical support and is responsible for providing guidance to the Learning Management System by leveraging experience and industry expertise to effectively develop tailored solutions. The LMS Specialist will support the digital learning design (DLD) team by driving measurable business results and enhancing the competitive advantage for our members. AORN is based in Denver, CO. Our LMS Specialist will work remotely. More about what you'll get to do as our LMS Specialist: Provide Learning Management System Support. Manage our learning technologies on an ongoing basis, including providing course management and setting up analytics for robust reporting. Support the configuration of system features, integrations, and more. Load SCORM content using publishing best practices. Serve as the point of contact with the LMS vendor(s). Act as an LMS consultant, providing best practice insight into all LMS functionality. Participate in ongoing design, modifications, and maintenance of learning plans. Improve system functionality via requests and documentation. Troubleshoot technical problems and address user-reported issues in a timely manner. Act as a change agent to drive continuous improvement across AORN's portfolio. Run reports and analyze data to help with budget preparation and product development priorities. Track metrics to ensure products are running effectively. Identify performance gaps using industry standard tools and processes. Share in the advancement of the digital learning design team's mission: Engage and collaborate with Learning Experience Designers (LXDs), IT Development team, and Experience Services team to develop world class digital learning. Continually expand skillset in new approaches and emerging technologies through ongoing research and experimentation. Provide thought leadership and contributions to projects, the team, and AORN. Empower self and others to think outside the box and develop creative learner-centric ideas that are grounded in organizational needs. Test new methodologies, break away from status quo, and be a technology advocate. Additional duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Microsoft Office 360 (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Flow, Planner). Agile, design sprints, and design thinking. A desire to learn and grow in your career. Accurate and technical with an eye for innovation and engagement.
