Job Description: As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Ivy.ai, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our advanced AI communication platform and our clients' needs, ensuring seamless integration and customer satisfaction.


You will serve as the primary technical liaison for the Sales, Project Management, and Partnership Success teams, working closely with higher education institutions to understand their unique requirements, design tailored solutions, and guide them through the deployment process.


This position requires a strong technical background, experience with software integrations, and exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:


Technical Pre-Sales Support: Partner with Account Executives and Sales teams to provide technical guidance, product demonstrations, and customized solutions to prospective clients. Identify and address technical challenges, and answer product-related questions to ensure client requirements are met.


Solution Design and Architecture: Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and design solutions that effectively integrate Ivy.ai’s AI chatbot platform with their existing systems (e.g., Student Information Systems, Learning Management Systems, Customer Relationship Management platforms). Develop integration plans and technical specifications for seamless deployment.


Implementation and Deployment: Lead the technical implementation of our platform for clients, including software configuration, custom script development, integration management, and troubleshooting. Ensure successful deployment and minimal disruption to client operations.


Client Support and Training: Provide ongoing technical support and training to clients to ensure successful adoption and utilization of the Ivy.ai platform. Serve as a technical point of contact to resolve any issues that arise post-implementation, ensuring high customer satisfaction.


Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, including Product, Development, and Partner Success teams. Clearly communicate feedback and work with the VP of Client Experience & Operations to prioritize requests for other teams based on impact to the business, product, and customer.


Documentation and Best Practices: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, integration guides, and best practices for both clients and internal teams. Develop scalable resources to support the deployment and use of Ivy.ai products.


Industry Awareness: Stay current with the latest trends in AI, chatbot technology, and higher education technology. Share insights and recommendations to maintain Ivy.ai's competitive edge and drive innovation.


Qualifications:


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). An advanced degree is preferred.


Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, Integration Specialist, or similar role in a SaaS company, with a preference for experience in the higher education or technology sectors.


Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Typescript, Node.JS, SQL, REST API development, Git
  • Experience with Postman, Graph API, React JS
  • Familiarity with Python, Google Cloud/AWS/Kubernetes, CICD tools (e.g. Jenkins) is a bonus
  • Proficiency in HubSpot, Google Workspace and fluency in higher education systems (SIS, LMS, and CRM) is required.


Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with communicating product updates and managing client expectations is essential.
