GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Learning Specialist II is responsible for designing and delivering engaging learning experiences for employees, aligning with organizational goals, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

TASKS, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS:
1. Develops technical and behavioral expectation training and objectives.
2. Assesses employee development needs and defines appropriate resources and processes to support learning.
3. Develops unique training programs to support the development of our retail and product services departments and their employee's.
4. Obtains and/or develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media.
5. Develops strategies to ensure the application and transfer of learned skills and knowledge to the workplace, including post-training activities and assessments.
6. Documents existing internal processes and procedures to create training materials.
7. Creates and updates training procedure manuals, user guides, and learning materials.
8. Trains and coach's managers, supervisors, and others involved in employee development efforts (train the trainer)
9. Maintains records of training and development activities and conducts follow-up studies of completed training to evaluate and measure results.
10. Assists the Manager Learning Operations with developing and maintaining instructional best practices for in-person, virtual and on-demand formats.
11. Develops and delivers engaging and interactive live, virtual, and on-demand training sessions for employees across the organization.
12. Works effectively with members of management and human resources to create effective learning programs.
13. Monitors, tracks, and reports on organization-wide training programs in addition to specialized training programs that address the learning and development needs of a department, position and/or functional area. 14. Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in learning and development.
15. Adapts and customizes learning content to meet the unique needs of different learner groups.
16. Adapts facilitation style and content delivery based on the needs and preferences of diverse learner groups. 17. Leverages technology to enhance learning experiences, including virtual platforms, the Learning Management System, multimedia, and other interactive tools.
18. Ensures seamless integration of digital resources into the learning process.
19. Administers assessments to measure learning outcomes and provide constructive feedback to participants. 20. Develops evaluation tools and gathers feedback to continuously improve learning programs.
21. Encourages individuals to take ownership of their development and seek opportunities for growth.
22. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION :
bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Education, Training and Development, or a related discipline.

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilitating learning sessions, curating content, for curriculum development, participating in or leading consulting intake conversations, preferably in diverse organizational settings. Experience working with subject matter experts and instructional designers
