Director, Outbound Security Product Manager

Cisco is seeking an authoritative Director, Outbound Security Product Manager to drive the growth and success of our innovative security product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, an understanding of cybersecurity technologies, and the ability to optimally connect with customers, sales teams, and partners. As an Outbound Security Product Management Director, you will be responsible for defining go-to-market strategies, communicating product value propositions, and enabling our sales force to deliver our solutions effectively to the market. Responsibilities: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Cisco's security products, ensuring alignment with the overall product and company vision. Collaborate with engineering, inbound product management, sales, marketing, and support teams to ensure successful product launches and market adoption. Engage with customers and partners to capture feedback, understand their security needs, and advocate for their requirements within the product development process. Create and deliver compelling product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for sales teams, channel partners, and at industry events. Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform product positioning, pricing, and sales strategies. Craft compelling messaging and positioning that differentiates Cisco's security products in the market. Work closely with the marketing team to develop sales collateral, case studies, whitepapers, and other materials that support the selling process. Monitor and report on the performance of products in the market, and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve business objectives. Maintain an in-depth understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, including emerging threats, technologies, and competitor offerings. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent combination of skills & experience. 10+ years of product management experience in the cybersecurity industry. Preferred Skills: Proven record of leading successful outbound product initiatives from conception to market launch. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate sophisticated technical concepts to a variety of audiences. Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, coupled with a customer-centric mindset. Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Willingness to travel as needed to support product launches, sales engagements, and industry events. Familiarity with Cisco's security products and solutions is a plus.
