What's the position?
As a Manager on the Integrated Marketing & Partnerships team, you will help build and own the activation strategy across Hard Rock Bet’s portfolio of sponsorships to maximize value and exceed sponsorship KPIs. You will take a best-in-class management approach to working with teams, leagues, events, and properties. You will be responsible for working cross-functionally and with external agency partners to drive Partnership Marketing efforts. You will proactively uncover and recommend new partnership opportunities across team, league, events, and properties that align and amplify Hard Rock Bet’s partnership strategy. You will own on-the-ground partnership activations and co-marketing efforts.
You’re an emotive-based marketeer who has proven experience in executing sponsorships, driving internal stakeholder groups, and navigating ambiguity. You are a master tactician that can manage multiple stakeholders to success in a fast-paced environment. You are a highly collaborative partner with an eye towards building long lasting, mutually beneficial relationships for all parties.
You are interested in audience narratives, insights, cutting edge sports partnerships, and macro-culture research, and are driven to become an expert on communities in sports betting and online casino, in the Hard Rock Bet product, and in creative campaigns that drive loyalty to our brand. You will work across partners to drive both a revenue generating and brand building approach to our marketing efforts.
Ultimately, you will contribute to building, growing, and expanding the best brand in gaming.
What are we looking for?
The role reports to the Director, Sports Integrated Marketing & Partnerships,
Help lead Hard Rock Bet’s partnership marketing efforts, setting up efficient project plans and ways of working with internal & external partners
Effective partner management across professional sports and agency partners to drive Hard Rock Bet brand and business objectives
Develop & execute best-in-class sponsorship activation strategies for a diverse range of audiences across on-site activation, co-marketing campaign planning, signage, CRM & database marketing, paid media, promotions, hospitality and Hard Rock Bet owned + operated channels
Manage day-to-day activation planning and associated performance tracking of all partnership assets across partner and Hard Rock Bet owned + operated channels to ensure maximum value is extracted
Own sponsorship valuation modelling of prospective sponsorship proposals to aid in evaluation process
Partner with Product and Analytics teams on KPIs and reporting, inclusive of ongoing & recap reporting of all existing partnerships
Promote a work environment that fosters creativity, innovation, rational risk-taking and tradeoffs
Partner with other parts of the Marketing team to bring the brand to life in sports and macro-culture
The ideal candidate will:
Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of successful experience as a partnership/sponsorship lead at a brand, sports team/league, or sports marketing agency
Exceptional record of partnership successes with a history of growing brand metrics and/or driving revenue
Strong and highly developed interpersonal & management skills to build and lead internal teams
Deep experience in using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements, including sponsorship valuation and recap reporting
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - you don’t let things “slip through the cracks”
Emotive-based marketeer who has proven experience with creative and key messaging techniques, inclusive of large and diverse audiences
Expertise in current and emerging media, as well as a strong point of view on how to reach unique audience segments
Exceptionally collaborative. Must have an ability to work cross-functionally with external teams, as well as all internal teams inclusive of brand, creatives, product marketers, content marketers, and campaign managers of all levels
Passion for sports and sports betting
Based in Miami/Fort Lauderdale
Willingness to travel and work nights, weekends
