Healthcare Marketing Liaison

The Healthcare Marketing Liaison serves as a vital link between healthcare facilities or providers and the marketing department. They are responsible for promoting healthcare services, building relationships with referral sources, and enhancing the organization's visibility within the community. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare industry regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, case managers, and other referral sources.
- Promotional Activities: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote healthcare services, programs, and specialties offered by the organization.
- Community Outreach: Conduct outreach activities within the community to raise awareness of healthcare services and increase patient referrals.
- Education and Training: Provide education and training sessions to healthcare professionals about the organization's services, capabilities, and advancements.
- Event Coordination: Plan and organize healthcare-related events, such as seminars, workshops, and health fairs, to engage with referral sources and the community.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify healthcare trends, competitor activities, and patient needs, and use this information to inform marketing strategies.
- Content Development: Create compelling marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and website content, to effectively communicate the organization's value proposition.
- Data Analysis: Analyze marketing data, including referral trends, patient demographics, and campaign performance metrics, to evaluate effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
- Compliance: Ensure all marketing activities and materials comply with healthcare industry regulations, including HIPAA and other privacy laws.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on marketing activities, referral trends, and ROI to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Public Relations, or related field.
- Previous experience in healthcare marketing, sales, or related roles preferred.
- Strong understanding of healthcare industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with healthcare professionals.
- Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive referrals and patient volume.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt strategies to meet changing market dynamics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and marketing software/tools.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of digital marketing principles and social media platforms is a plus.
- Willingness to travel locally as needed and attend evening or weekend events.
