Qualifications
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
Experience with Agency Bill accounting
5 years finance and accounting experience
Expert at Microsoft Excel
Working knowledge of insurance agency accounting procedures a plus
Experience with Applied Epic agency management system
Responsibilities
Establish and ensure proper financial internal controls are adhered to
Manage daily accounting transactions and organize all associated documents and reports
Accurately record and maintain financial information within the agency accounting systems
Complete daily, monthly, quarterly and annual closing/reporting activities
Manage and monitor cash flow and associated reporting
Prepare financial reports for leadership and other senior management
Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable and resolve reconciliation issues
Prepare for and aggregate related financial information for tax preparation
Liaison with outside accounting firm for guidance, audit and tax preparation
Prepare and maintain budgets and other forecasting reports
