Manage the financial operations of the company, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. Monitor financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing insights and recommendations to senior management. Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads to establish financial goals and objectives. Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions. Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to optimize the company's financial position. Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets. Prepare financial reports Stay up-to-date with accounting and tax regulations and ensure compliance. Perform bank reconciliations. Oversee payroll and 401K reimbursements Work with CPA on tax filings and year-end Journal Entries. Work closely with Project Managers to identify areas of profit opportunity and risk while staying on track of budgets

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred. Proven experience as a Controller or similar role, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and reporting standards. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Strong leadership and supervisory skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. Strong background in financial management, including budget preparation and cash flow management. Experience with Deltek preferred; preferably in consulting background such as engineering, environmental, or architectural firms.
