Senior Tax Accountant

for a position at a growing CPA firm located in southern Fairfield County. The public accounting firm has been in business for over thirty years and provides professional tax and accounting services for a diversified client base, including high net-worth individuals, privately held businesses, and not-for-profit organizations.

The firm has a culture that drives professional development, independence, and career advancement. We are searching for candidates who will be a long-term asset to our dynamic team.

Senior Tax Accountant Primary Responsibilities:

Preparation of all types of tax returns (including business, individual, estate, trusts).

Tax planning for business and individuals.

Perform research and prepare memorandums.

Assist clients with tax audits and IRS or state correspondence.

Business consulting and special projects.

Requirements:

Senior Tax Accountant Requirements: Bachelo's or master's degree in accounting

3-5 years of diversified public accounting experience

CPA certified or in process of pursuing is a plus.

Experience with CCH ProFx Tax is a plus.
