The

Finance Operations Specialist

in Arizona will have a range of responsibilities focusing on month-end closing, accounts payable processing, and payroll management. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of financial operations within the organization.

Responsiblities:
Assist in the month-end closing processes for US company
Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
Handle payroll processing, including timekeeping, payroll calculations and disbursement of wages.
Ensure compliance with federal, state and local tax regulations and payroll tax filings.
Provide general finance support, including administrative and ad-hoc projects.
Works closely with departments based in headquarters, including Payroll, HR, Finance and other team members

Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounting, Finance and Payroll related fields
Experience in a US-based company, with knowledge of Arizona state taxes
Familiarity with Certipay payroll system and Dynamics D365, including proficiency in using associated applications
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes
Experience in preparing and filing payroll tax returns and other regulatory reports
Proven ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements
Excellent written and oral communication
Demonstrated ability to support operations
Demonstrated ability to document and improve operational processes
A self-starter, who will take the initiative to lead and drive implementation
