Our client has an immediate need for a highly driven and energetic Application Developer II (Mid-Level) to join their high-performing IT team. This is a 6-month contract to permanent assignment and the role is 100% remote.

Position Purpose:

Contribute to the design, implementation, testing and deployment of applications, while working closely with Product Owners and team members to ensure the code product is maintainable, reliable, understandable and documented in accordance with Product Owner requirements and specifications. Perform analyses at all levels of application product to include concept, design, fabrication, testing, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of Product Owner requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.

Skill Requirements:

C#, .NET Core, Razor Pages, Entity Framework Core

Requirements:

BS in Computer Science or related field. Minimum five years of experience in application development. Demonstrable knowledge of new tools and technologies for innovative application development

Experience UI development using modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular and VueJS

Should have hands-on front-end development experience in HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, etc.

Experience in .NET & C# development at enterprise level applications in an Agile environment

Experience building services with REST APIs

Experience with DevOps tools and processes

Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD

Experience developing JMeter tests

Experience with Octopus Deploy, Orchestrator, Ranorex

Experience with Agile practices, methodologies

- Sprint planning, daily scrums, backlog grooming and updating Azure DevOps artifacts to ensure work is tracked appropriately

Prefer experience with mobile app development for IOS- and Android-based devices

Strong verbal and communication skills

Strong team player with a desire to learn and mentor by collaborating with peers and other DevOps members across the organization
