Title: Release Manager/Project Manager

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Location: Remote but eventually will be 3x per week on-site in Philadelphia

Pay: Up to $62/hr

Job description:

  • Implement and manage release processes for code from development/test through production environments
  • Track progress of testing vs schedules in test environments
  • Create plans and schedules for the implementation and deployment of features, bug fixes and infrastructure changes across all environments
  • Identify and manage risk, dependencies and communicate them to stakeholders
  • Develop mitigation/contingency plans for discovered risks
  • Coordinate releases with internal and external teams and coordinate release readiness and Go/no-Go reviews
  • Communicate changes/outages and their status to stakeholders
  • Maintain artifacts, calendars, procedures, dependencies and communication
  • Attend the CAB meetings to discuss the release schedules and identify dependencies
  • Develop dashboards/reporting providing visibility into timelines, status and quality

Manage:

  • Environments, data refreshes, upgrades and patches
  • Plan team testing schedules across environments and teams, avoiding collisions between the needs of different teams
